Our first market......Blue Bird Garage, Muizenberg

Thanks to everyone who came to say hi and support us! We hope to be back at the market soon...... in the mean time you can find our chocolate at Closer Vegan restaurant in Palmer Rd, Muizenberg Village.

Once upon a time...

... there were two ladies of lusciousness, one who rose from the depths of the earth, bearing gifts of dark, delicious, decedent delights of supercharged cacao substance, illuminated by the gods. And the other descended from the sky realms with reams of insightful words selected and over the years collected from the forever. They came together and joined their sources\sauces and created something de light filled, beautiful and not only outside the box but completely out of this world!

Our packaging....

We use only biodegradable packaging from GreenHome

CELLOPHANE BIOPLASTIC

Green Home supplies Natureflex NP cellophane which is manufactured from renewable wood pulp and harvested from plantations operating good forestry management principles. Cellophane is made from regenerated cellulose. Cellulose is made from wood, cotton or hemp. Its low permeability to air, oils, greases, and bacteria and heat seal ability makes it useful for food packaging.

The wood cellophane bags are 100% biodegradable and compost excellently in home compost bins.

BAGASSE (sugar cane)

Our take away bowls are made from bagasse.

Bagasse is the fibrous sugar cane pulp remaining once sugar has been extracted from cane. In effect, bagasse is a by-product of the sugar cane industry, which would otherwise be burned for energy or left to compost. To extend the life of this by-product, this pulp is instead molded into various shapes to make take away food containers.

They are 100% biodegradable and compostable after use.
